Bonamy Plumbing was founded by Remy on hard work, honest
communication, and the belief that small daily efforts produce real results.

Bonamy Plumbing was built to serve Sydney’s most demanding construction projects. We work alongside builders, architects, and project managers on custom homes, duplexes, architect-designed builds, and commercial developments across the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, and Lower North Shore.

We are brought in early because that is when it matters. Coordinating with the design team before slab day, mapping every penetration and drainage run in advance, and staying in step with other trades throughout the build is how we protect project timelines and keep variations to a minimum. Builders rely on us because we treat their program as our own.

Founder's Story

Remy Bonanni founded Bonamy Plumbing with a clear goal, to build a plumbing company known for quality workmanship, strong communication and genuine accountability.
 
Raised in Greenacre and now based in Monterey, Remy grew up in a hardworking family where showing up, doing your job properly and earning people’s trust were simply expected.
 
Remy began his plumbing career with a small, close-knit company, where he spent two years working across renovations, granny flats and smaller residential projects, while also subcontracting to larger plumbing companies on high-rise developments.
 
Working within a small team meant being given responsibility early. He was relied upon heavily, gaining practical experience across many areas of the trade and learning the importance of being adaptable, dependable and willing to solve problems.
 
After two years, Remy decided to pursue opportunities that would expose him to larger and more complex projects, allowing him to further develop his technical knowledge and leadership skills.
 
He then spent Five years with his next plumbing company, where he completed his apprenticeship before progressing through the business and becoming the company’s youngest foreman.
 
During this time, Remy gained extensive experience across commercial plumbing, high-rise developments, a high-end retirement village and luxury residential construction. He developed a strong understanding of complex plumbing systems, project coordination, team management and the planning required to successfully deliver demanding projects.
 
One of the most rewarding parts of the role was training apprentices and watching them develop into capable, confident tradespeople. Remy became passionate about passing on his knowledge, building good habits and helping young plumbers take genuine pride in their work.
 
That experience has strongly influenced the culture at Bonamy Plumbing. The business has implemented a structured training program focused on technical knowledge, practical skills, accountability and maintaining high standards throughout every stage of a project.
 
In 2022, Remy established Bonamy Plumbing with the ambition of building something of his own and creating a plumbing company that clients, builders and employees could rely on.
 
Since then, Bonamy Plumbing has grown into a trusted team delivering luxury homes, boutique developments, detailed renovations and commercial projects across Sydney, with a strong presence throughout the Eastern Suburbs.
 
Remy remains closely involved in the business, its people and its projects, bringing a practical, hands-on approach and a commitment to planning properly, communicating clearly and taking ownership from start to finish.
